Programs and Events

At MMÉLÌ Arts Foundation, our programs and events are where ideas meet action.

From fellowships and labs to public conversations, exhibitions, workshops, and cultural gatherings, we design spaces that nurture African creative talent, deepen artistic practice, and expand access to opportunity. Every program is built with purpose, rooted in context, and driven by the belief that culture is not ornamental, it is infrastructure.

MMÉLÌ Arts Foundation invites you to partner with us for the inaugural edition of The Creative Writing Entrepreneurship Program (TCWEP), a six-week creative incubator launching during International Women’s Month 2026. Designed for women aged 25–65, including stay-at-home mothers, women returning after career breaks, caregivers, midlife women seeking renewed income pathways, and professionals exploring creative enterprise. TCWEP equips participants with practical creative skills in writing, digital content creation, and creative enterprise development. These skills enable immediate income generation and long-term economic participation without reliance on startup capital or loans.

TCWEP is a flagship economic empowerment initiative with strong creative economy outcomes, and a low-capital, high-impact vocational and creative entrepreneurship program that equips women, especially mothers, with income-generating skills that can be immediately deployed in the market. This program directly supports International Women’s Day 2026 global focus on economic participation, creative inclusion, and women’s access to public platforms.
